How to play

Tap Sprint is a fast reaction and endurance game. The goal is to tap your controller as often as possible within the game time. Performance is shown as taps per second, total taps, and playing time.

The game uses one host screen and one or more smartphones as controllers. The host shows the game status, rounds, teams, and results. Players tap on their smartphones.

It's that easy:

1. Open https://tapsprint.de on the host device (desktop, laptop, tablet)
2. Select a game variant on the host device
3. Players scan the QR code with their smartphone or tablet and register
4. Select the game duration on the host device and click "Let's go!"

Depending on the settings, not all game versions are always available. Only the variants enabled for the current installation are shown.

Solo

Individual players play on their own. Their own performance counts.

1vs1

Two players compete directly against each other.

3vs3

Two teams with up to three players each compete against each other.

5vs5

Two teams with up to five players each compete against each other.

The exact game flow depends on the settings. Only the flows available for the current round are shown.

Solo

All participating players play individually. The individual results are shown afterwards.

Solo - Duel

First, an individual round is played. Afterwards, players compete in direct duels.

Solo - Team

Solo - Duel - Team

First, players play individually, then duels follow, and finally a team round is played.

The host is the central game screen. It shows the QR code, game status, round information, team assignment, countdown, and results. Ideally, the host is displayed on a larger screen.

Controls

The host is used to start, control, and finish the game. Depending on the settings, players can join, rounds can be prepared, and results can be displayed.

The controller runs on each player's smartphone. After joining the game, the player's name is shown. During the round, players tap on the tap area.

Controls

To play, simply tap the tap area as fast and steadily as possible. After the round ends, the performance is saved and shown on the host.
